Wrong tape.
Silence is golden, duct tape is silver.

Rallycross, actually.

Wrong kind of Scotch! The guys at the rallycross are going to be so pissed at you.

Remember to give your undercarriage a good wash afterwards!

What is the car? Sounds great, thought about it with my fost, only Autocross for it though.

‘94 Escort. I’m the exact opposite, actually. Dirt is more forgiving on tires, so I’m avoiding autocross for now.

DAMN YOU
mine was postponed if you didn’t see the post

There’s an awesome rallyx course out in central/northwest Illinois, but it’s built into a motox track, so I’m not too likely to give the FR-S that much abuse. Especially once my coilovers go on, which should be in the next couple weeks.
I need a beater.

I did, actually. That really sucks! At least it’s not completely cancelled, though.

It’s supposed to be rainy that day, I think, so I’ll just aim for all the puddles on my way home.

Is this your way of telling Oppo what you like in the bedroom?

Rusted suspension parts, sucks. Have fun!

For me it might be though.
Wife’s birthday that day.
I don’t know if I have the cash to support the kind of gift that might require LOL

Ahhh, damn! Hopefully you can still get in on it as soon as possible.
I kinda lucked out on the date for mine. It’s immediately followed by Easter, and then my sister’s birthday. Plus I work the day before.

Oh and just so you know, you can print out numbers and put them on the window, you don’t have to do tape. I made this one for my car yesterday:
They told me to do it this way with printed numbers in the backwindow and I said well....they’re limo tinted....
They said to put it in a plastic sleeve protector and tape it to the outside of the window
These are the numbers and the SF Class letters right from the Detroit SCCA webpage.

I debated on doing that, but I dunno. Tape numbers seem more fun.

Tape could be fun too. my luck lately it would peel right off

Those numbers look about 4" tall then?
As someone who always gets the corner station job of having to write down the numbers and class of every car that goes by, please make them bigger.
Numbers need to be 8" high, and letters should be 6".

I’m going to need 2 sleeve protectors per window then.
Yes the numbers are about 4"
Being the guy on the corner do you prefer these printed numbers or do you prefer tape?
I would think printed

Are you somewhere it’s rainy? That’s the only reason I would think you need the sleeve protectors...
As long as the numbers are big enough, it doesn't really matter how they are made.

It has to go on the outside of my window, I think they thought it would get mud or something flung on it. giving the picture in this post is the actual track we were going to be driving on, i believe they were under the impression wet was going to be a thing lol

HOORAY THING!

Wait, rallycross? Yeah, use the sleeves. Haha. Or take it to like a FedEx Office and get it laminated.
![]() 03/18/2016 at 12:29 |

Hahahahaha!
laminated isn’t a bad idea though...
Same size increase recommendation though?

Yep!

OK dokie...I wonder if they make 11x17" page protectors....
